Turtle Tuesdays: B sends flowers!

Meet B, the flower turtle. She apologizes for being bloggy absent last Tuesday. B made a special Turtle Tuesday video for you. In fact, she spent hours trying to get it on her B log. B is experiencing great opposition trying to say what she has to say in all kind of ways. It is keeping her grounded though....on her knees more. That's always a good thing!

B is seeing the benefits in this opposition. Normally she retreats from it. The Lord is stretching her right now. B is trying not to shrink back from all of this faith exercising. B knows that without faith it is impossible to please God.

How is God working in your life? Have you faced opposition lately? How did you handle it? Please share if you have time. I will b away this week again. I hope to connect and share more with you soon.

  1. Yep, big time opposition, especially physically. But that's when I fall at the feet of Jesus and B still and LISTEN! I had one of THE most amazing weeks with my Lord this past week and still - yet the opposition remains. But that tells me that I am right where I'm supposed to B - feeding on His GRACE alone and causing a ruckus in the heavenly realms!!

It just took me 14 hours to get my post up too - opposition on every front - means there's a GOOD FIGHT going on!

We miss you B!! Great post "?'s"

    Choosing JOY,

  2. Oh yes there has been opposition. I think that is a sign that I am on the right track though. When I stray, I am allowed to wander but when I push forward to get closer to God is when I get opposed. I wonder who is doing that?

  3. Just want you to know that I appreciate you stopping by my blog and checking in on me. My opposition has been obedience to what God wants me to do. So I have gone through some chastisement from Him in a big way. But it was exactly what I needed. Know that I have missed our weekly blog fellowship.

  4. That photo makes me think that sometimes we need to come through some thorns before we can stop & smell the roses.

    Hang in there!

  7. Opposition.....huge opposition. I know what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm supposed to be writing. I got so tired of the battle I took the whole summer off. However, I girded up and declared "back to work" for me last Monday and woke up with a full blown sinus infection and hadn't even been sick. Then, i got back to work this Monday and our house was hit by lightening and fried our internet. It's now fixed, thank the Lord. So, opposition....yes. But, I shall press on.

  8. Precious B,

    I understand...

I handle it by drawing even closer, deeper to the LORD. Refreshing myself in His word. Speaking His word over myself and the situation. Rejoicing in what I know and not in what I may see. I could go on...

Remember opposition will make you better or bitter. We decide. It's rough going through it but when we go through it with GOD on our side then we always come through it better.

    I love and missed you.

    Praying still...

Opposition, yep, I know it. A lot lately as I try to march forward. So many setbacks, but pressing on.

  11. Well B, if there's one thing I understand, it's opposition! Love how you write that it keeps you (us) on our knees more. I agree it's definitely a good thing.

THANK YOU for your encouraging words, Barbara! You have SUCH a gift of encouragement, and I'm so grateful we met last year at She Speaks. Thank you for your friendship and prayers. You are the BEST!

  12. I guess we are all experiencing some opposition. I am learning how to keep my eyes on Jesus no matter how much the enemy tries to distract me by pushing the waves in my face.

I say out loud "I choose to trust God." I crank up the praise music and worship before the LORD with all my might. And I remember the same scripture you wrote here...
Without faith it is impossible to please God. Heb 11:6

I will pray for you B.
    Much love!
