Turtle Tuesday: SeeSaw Faith

Meet B, the 'see' turtle.
She is not sure what she sees right now. There are some weeds in her way. B is off to speak this morning . She thinks God is going to show her something to report on later.
Isn't B looking like she is from 'Serious/sirius' today!
I'll b back.

B His Girl

I'm back from my adventure this morning. To b perfectly honest with you, I am hesitant to report on what I saw today. It's just a little too much. I'm overwhelmed. He did show me something as I expected and He also reminded me of His incredible sense of humor. Any guesses on what I saw today?
B, the 'see' turtle... saw a turtle crossing the road on the way to her speaking engagement. To see a turtle on a Tuesday is special when you're a turtle girl. You know it was ordered in your path. This is not the first time this has happened to B. I think the Lord was poking me this morning. B was looking all serious, as she prepared to speak and the Lord wanted B to smile. The heaviness the enemy tries to throw on B every single day fell as she understood the Lord's humor.

B, the 'see' turtle knows the journey she is on is ordered, even though at times all she sees is weeds. B encouraged today even if you can't see a thing. He's there. Remember Moses and his journey reported in Hebrews 11. He persevered because he saw him who is invisible. Keep the faith. It will b rewarded.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord,And He delights in his way.
Ps 37:23

  1. You can't see unless you look. And what you see depends on where you look. Look to Heaven B.

BTW, I'd love to hear more about your church's prayer shawl ministry. That sounds so awesome. What a neat idea.

And another BTW, my testimony post about the Mezuzah will be up tomorrow. I know you will get an absolute kick out of it!!

  3. Thank you my friend. You are always such an encouragement. He is and will continue to lead you in the way you should go. We often don't see the way for the weeds but He is still leading. We just need to keep trusting.

It amazes me that God is always putting turtles in your path. :)

You have been on my mind all morning. I am praying for you.

  4. I love you. We have the prayer shawl here and it is usually either wrapped around me or over Andrew's feet.

  5. Amazing how those little turtles come out for you! God allowed me to eavesdrop on a racoon sleeping in my chaise lounge the other morning at 3 AM! I know it sounds silly- but I loved the divine date!

  7. I find myself seeing what God wants me to see a lot lately. That little turtle was there for a reason. You have to look if you want Him to show you the way.

  12. We saw a couple turtles this past week on vacation. And of course, I thought of you.

One was walking along the side of the road in the resort we were staying at. We stopped the car and Justin got out to say hi. The turtle hid his head and slowly peeked out again, but only part way. As Justin got back in the car, the turtle tried his best to run away. We laughed at his speedy pace.

The other turtles were at Islands of Adventure in the waters there. We saw both a mom and a baby swimming. We are guessing the bigger one was a female. We don't know for sure. I took a picture of the baby one and posted it on FB for you in my Universal Studios album.

Can't wait to SEE YOU, B.

    SOOO excited.

    Love you

  13. I loved to hear how the LORD encouraged you this morning! He is the greatest!

Many times I look at and get caught up in the *weeds* of life. Sweet encouragement to keep the faith even when "can't see a thing." We had a missionary speaker at church yesterday and this post speaks to my heart in the very same area as the sermon - faith will be rewarded!

    Praise His Name!

  15. B I am glad you stopped over to enter the giveaway. Wow what a dream. I do believe in signs from the Lord, and I am going to make a special domino for you. You let me know what colors you would like for it to be, and I will design it on a domino with the numbers 4 and 5. I think this dream is wonderful. How incredible we have met the way we have. God bless you. Send me an email so that I can get started on making it and I will send it out upon finishing it. hpabate@gmail.com
